The New York City skyline is by far one of the most iconic skylines in the world with some of the most beautiful buildings and architecture. There are two main concentrations of sky rise buildings in New York City, each recognizable for their own unique reasons. Midtown Manhattan is the largest central business district in the entire world and home to notable buildings such as the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Chrysler Building, and many more. The Lower Manhattan sky rise was commonly known for the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center until 2001, and is now home to the One World Trade Center.
