Summer vacationers have yet to arrive in the city, and despite the chance of April showers, the weather is better than it was in the winter months. So if you’re one of the lucky ones headed to New York City this April, read on for the best things to do all month long!

Celebrate Easter
When you think about Easter, you probably don’t associate it with hoards of people wearing enormous, intricate headwear down 5th Avenue. However, if you’re visiting NYC for Easter, you’ll have a hard time ever forgetting the NYC tradition that is The Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival! Check out the spectacle from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. along 5th Avenue from 49th to 57th Streets. For more information, click here.
April Showers?
If it does happen to rain a day or two during your stay in New York City, do not fear! Though it is fun to explore the streets of The Big Apple, there are a lot of awesome things to do that do not require bracing the cold or the rain. The city is filled to the brim with iconic museums such as the MOMA, Guggenheim, and the Met. There are also amazing restaurants to choose from - watch the rain fall from a window seat while enjoying a macaron (or 5...) and a cappuccino at Laduree, or try famous New York pizza at La Bella Ferrara in Little Italy.
So whether you’re biking through Central Park, seeking refuge from the rain with a French breakfast, or enjoying a magical cruise down the Hudson, you’re bound to have an amazing time in the Big Apple!
