Park Central - Upscale hotel in a fantastic location
The Park Central lobby is awesome.
To be brief, it combines the new modernity of NYC with the classic décor that makes a hotel like the Park Central so special. The lighting is dim, but it may just feel that way since the walls are pitch black and sparsely decorated with pictures of the city, as well as classic, colorfully-lit photos of Marilyn Monroe. (Check out the attached photos for a better idea of what I’m talking about.)
The furniture is strictly modern, made up of round cushion seats that are enjoyable to sit on, but don’t exactly say “sit in me all afternoon”. You won’t get lost in those bad boys, but it is a comfy place to wait for a cab or catch up on emails. There’s also the attached Cityhouse Restaurant, which had limited hours in the morning but served Starbuck’s Coffee if you stop in before 11am.
I wasn't able to make my way into the hotel bar (forgive me, it was but 10am), but it's dim interior and enclosed glass walls make people-watching an easy recreational activity. Definitely a classic NYC vibe going on in here.
Maybe the best perk of staying at the Park Central - aside from the luxurious interior - is the location; the Park Central is perfectly positioned on Broadway and 55th (check address), so Carnegie Hall is literally right across the street, the Carnegie Deli a block or so away, and the Garden Theater where Mama Mia! performs is practically next door.
Definitely an upscale hotel option perfect for tourists looking to go big on their New York vacation, there’s a reason the Park Central IS the Park Central.

Nice Rooms at the Park Central Hotel
When you book a hotel in New York City, you really never know what you're going to get. Oftentimes, you can pay a lot of money for a hotel that is not worth nearly that rate. However, at the Park Central NY Hotel, you're going to get your money's worth. In addition to the hotel's incredible location, you'll be able to relax in one of the remarkably comfortable guest rooms.
Though the rooms are not very large (it is New York City, after all), you will still have enough space to unwind after a long day of sightseeing in NYC. You can take a stroll around Central Park or just sit in their lounge and have a cocktail. Regardless of how you decide to take advantage of all the hotel amenities, you won't be disappointed by your stay at the Park Central NY Hotel.

Fantastic Hotel Location at Park Central Hotel
With the unbeatable location, you'll have a fun stay at the Park Central Hotel. The hotel is ideally located between Central Park and Time Square. You can enjoy a leisurely, quiet stroll in the park or become part of the excitement in Times Square.
Park Central has a pretty modern and elegant lobby, and the guest rooms are clean and cozy. If you're in NYC on business or want to use your laptop, you'll have to pay $14 for internet, which is kind of a lot. However, the location and comfort of this hotel is great for the price.

Park Central is Worth the Price
Park Central Hotel is definitely worth every penny. The location is superb--You're a few blocks from Central Park and just a short cab right from Times Square . From the lobby to the rooms, you can tell it is a luxury NYC hotel. Accordingly, you'll be well taken care of by the staff and your room will be clean and comfortable. However, this isn't a boutique hotel, so it doesn't have interesting and unique decor. It's very traditional and pricey, but you'll understand what you're paying for when you stay at this lavish hotel.

Good Hotel for the Price - Park Central
Park Central is a great hotel. When you walk in, you'll definitely notice the luxurious lobby. The hotel is across the street from Carnegie Hall, right near Central Park, and only a five minute walk from Times Square. Definitely, the biggest draws of this hotel are the location and price. Though not super cheap, Park Central Hotel has pretty good prices on rooms, and they often have deals on rooms if you're not going during Christmas/New Year's. The rooms are clean and pretty big for New York City hotels, however the air conditioning isn't always great. You'll enjoy the high quality flat screen TV in the room, and the room service is really good and quick! While this hotel isn't really luxurious, it's still a good hotel with a great location and price.
